Over the last few years mass WWE releases became quite common, but the company has brought a number of former Superstars back to the company. While some former WWE stars have been returning to the ring it seems that other names are taking on different roles.
WWE recently released a new video on Linkedin that highlights some of the new hires that were brought to the company in the first quarter of 2023, and it shows that Eddie Dennis has been working as a writer/producer in NXT.
Eddie Dennis first started working with WWE in 2018 as part of the NXT UK brand. He remained with the company up until August of 2022 when he was released from his contract.
It’s worth noting that Eddie Dennis announced his retirement from in-ring competition back in March, and he wrestled his final match at the RevPro Revolution Rumble even on March 26. Even though Eddie seems to be retired from in-ring competition for now it doesn’t look like he’s done with wrestling.
Eddie isn’t the only former NXT UK star who has been working with WWE as of late as another released wrestler was recently spotted at the Performance Center and you can get more on that here.
