In recent weeks the wrestling world has been doing a lot of talking about Vince McMahon after it was reported that Vince paid $12 million dollars to four different women to suppress allegations of sexual misconduct. Stephanie McMahon has been named interim CEO and Chairwoman of WWE, but Vince McMahon has retained his role in creative.
There’s been a lot of speculation about where the chips could fall moving forward, but when a fan on Twitter told Maria Kanellis that she should return to WWE she made it clear that she has no interest returning unless the company ends up under new management and/or ownership.
No. Not until it is under new management/ownership. https://t.co/h2IYWcsF5s

A few weeks ago Maria responded to a fan who suggested that WWE should be burned to the ground, and she noted that she hopes the culture in the company will change moving forward.
“Let’s not wish that. There are a lot of good people that work there. WWE employs hundreds of people. Let’s hope the company is bought out by someone/company that will treat WWE like a business and not a boys club. Health insurance, retirement plans, parental leave,”
“Vacation days, child care, and a clear direction for the future. This is going to be an anxiety-filled time for a lot of people that work there. Hopefully, the COMPANY CULTURE will change. And people will still have jobs they love to feed their families.”
