WWE has released a number of Superstars since April of 2020, and one of the names that happened to get released last year was none other than Sarah Logan.
During an appearance on Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette the former Riott Squad member recalled her last meeting with Vince McMahon and she noted that she originally wanted to be mean, but things didn’t go that way.
“My final days in WWE, I actually went into Vince’s office and I had it in my brain that I was going to go in there and be mean and give him a piece of my mind. I went in there and was the most professional POS that I’ve ever been in my life. Wrestling doesn’t owe me anything and it’s given me more than I could have hoped for. I went in there and was like, ‘this has always been my dream job. I lived it. It’s given me my best friend and husband and now a child. Thank you and I hope we meet again someday. I shook his hand and left.’ I couldn’t sit there and act like I was pissed. Was I heartbroken? Yes, but I had the best time of my life there and my life is still getting better.”
Logan went on to say that she had a few interactions with Vince McMahon, and she actually ended up growling at the Chairman of the Board at a Tribute to the Troops taping.
“We had a few conversations, but I wasn’t like, ‘Hey, V.’ I growled at him one time. We were at Tribute to the Troops and my mind is blown because I come from a military family and Vince walks by with his entourage and he goes, ‘Ladies, [clears throat’ and I go, ‘Hi sir, grrr’ and he like stops and keeps going, [Ruby Riott] grabs me and goes, ‘Did you just growl at Vince McMahon?’ ‘He growled at me first.’ ‘Sarah, he was clearing his throat, he was clearing his throat, he wasn’t growling.’ I thought we were doing like you growl, I growl.”
Following her WWE release Sarah Logan announced that she would be stepping away from wrestling for the foreseeable future. Stay tuned for updates.
