WWE has released quite a few names so far in 2021, and a few weeks ago former WWE Tag Team Champion Scotty 2 Hotty announced that he had requested to be released from the company. Scotty had been working as a coach in NXT, but he recently revealed his list of wrestling goals for 2022, and it looks like he’ll be back in action sooner than later.
Scotty 2 Hotty will be returning to the ring at the Big Time Wrestling event in Spartanburg, SC at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium on January 22, 2022. His opponent has not been named yet.
The event will feature FTR vs. The Rock N’ Roll Express, Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. George South, and in addition to Scotty 2 Hotty competing Matt Hardy and Brock Anderson will also be in action. Arn Anderson, Magnum TA and Lex Luger are also being advertised for the event.
Stay tuned for more updates on Scotty 2 Hotty’s in-ring return as they become available.
