Following the TKO merger back in September of 2023, WWE released a number of talents including AJ Francis who was known to WWE fans as Top Dolla. After his non-compete clause expired AJ Francis returned to wrestling and it seems that he’s still on good terms with WWE.
Fightful Select is reporting that AJ Francis is backstage at Raw this week at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX. There’s currently no word on why he’s backstage, or if he’s just simply visiting friends.
In December of 2023, AJ Francis made his return to professional wrestling when he debuted with Game Changer Wrestling. A month later in January of 2024, Francis debuted with Total Nonstop Action wrestling. It was later reported that AJ Francis had not signed a contract with the promotion but would continue to make appearances for the company.
