Over the last few years WWE has released a number of wrestlers, but you never know who might return to the company. While some former WWE stars have returned for on screen appearances with WWE the company has also brought in some interesting names for backstage roles.
Recently Lince Dorado took to social media to revealed that he’s been working as a coach at the WWE Performance Center. Dorado noted that today will be his second day on the job as he’s set to work the NXT tapings tonight.
Lince Dorado first started working with WWE in 2016 when he was announced as part of the Cruiserweight Classic tournament. Dorado then went on to work in WWE’s revived cruiserweight division.
In 2018, Lince Dorado went on to form Lucha House Party with Gran Metalik and Kalisto. Dorado continued to work on the WWE roster for several more years before he was released in November of 2021. Following his WWE departure Lince Dorado made appearances for companies such as MLW, NJPW and Impact Wrestling.
Lince Dorado confirmed on social media that he is currently working as a guest coach. It’s unclear if this could lead to a full time role with the company. Stay tuned for more updates on Lince Dorado’s status as they become available.
