Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions reDRagon, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly spoke to Matthew Grant of the IndyPowerRankings podcast last night on a number of topics, including this Sunday’s Best in the World PPV, War of the Worlds, being ROH World Tag Team Champions, facing Daniels and Kazarian at this Sunday’s PPV, the rumors from last week about Davey Richards trying to bring both to TNA and more. Here are some extracts from the interview.
O’Reilly on War of the Worlds: It was a special occasion you know, New York City, joint shows with New Japan Pro Wrestling, there was a special buzz in the air and you know we’re in there with The Young Bucks and those guys can tear it up with a broomstick and I’ve said that before so I’ll say it again because they are the best; actually, second best tag team in the world after reDRagon.
Fish on Bad Influence at Best in the World: I think we just continue to add to this list of who’s who within the industry of who we’ve competed against and mostly beaten, so obviously it’s something we look forward to, and it was the same thing with The Young Bucks at War of the Worlds, our list keeps getting quite lengthy and quite impressive and the one tread that runs through all these teams is one that they’re top notch and they are the elite in tag team wrestling, and the other common tread is that they all have at least one loss to reDRagon on their records.
Fish on the rumors of TNA contacting them: The truth is we’re actually in negotiations to buy TNA. reDRagon is going to own TNA. We’re going to buy it, we’re not going to wrestle. You know how things and rumors get twisted.
O’Reilly: We’re not going to appear, none of that, we’re just purchasing.
