Over the last few years mass WWE releases have become quite common and fans had to get used to seeing some of their favorite wrestlers get cut on a regular basis. The Good Brothers were let go shortly after they were featured in the AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker match at WrestleMania 36, but they recently returned to WWE to reform The O.C. with The Phenomenal One.
During a recent appearance on the After The Bell podcast with Corey Graves, Luke Gallows discussed his WWE release and he explained why he and Karl Anderson were offended when they got the news.
“It’s eleven days removed from this Boneyard match that we got all this praise for. so we didn’t see it coming. It offended him and it offended me too a little bit. We’re eleven days out from main eventing Wrestlemania.”
After parting ways with WWE in 2020, The Good Brothers went on to sign with Impact Wrestling and they also made appearances in AEW and NJPW. The Good Brothers made their surprise return to WWE a few weeks ago and immediately revived The O.C. with AJ Styles. On the most recent episode of Raw, Mia Yim returned to join The O.C. in their fight against The Judgment Day. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
