Over the summer Vince McMahon made headlines after he was involved in a car accident. Following the accident which totaled his Bentley, Vince was charged with one count of reckless driving and one count of following too closely. McMahon showed up to Stamford Superior Court on Thursday and fans were waiting for him outside at the building.

TMZ reports that Vince McMahon won his reckless driving case on Thursday. McMahon was reportedly given access to a special program where if he meets a certain set of criteria the charges will be dropped in a year.

A Stamford, Conn. judge allowed Vince McMahon into an accelerated pretrial rehabilitation that will ensure his case will be thrown out in October of 2026 is he stays out of trouble, donates $1,000 to charity and drives lawfully.

Vince McMahon’s attorney Mark Sherman told TMZ that they are happy with the outcome when he said, “It was good news. Not every car accident is a crime and the judge agreed he deserved this dismissal and we’re grateful for that.”
