Matt and Jeff Hardy’s magnum opus, The Final Deletion, was all the rage last week ladies and gentlemen. Wrestling fans everywhere were talking about it for better or worse and this week WWE tried to capitalize on the hype. WWE did their own version of the segment where The New Day visited The Wyatt Family’s compound, and to say it looked similar would be kind of an understatement.

It was basically just WWE’s version of The Final Deletion straight up. But to be fair, it’s not like TNA hasn’t ripped off WWE a hundred times, and we all know that wrestling angles get rehashed from time to time so this was bound to happen eventually.

Not everyone was a fan of The Final Deletion and not everyone was a fan of WWE’s version either. Matt Hardy’s wife Reby Sky, who was heavily involved in The Final Deletion along with her father, Senor Benjamin, wasn’t a fan of WWE’s take on segment.

Fans quickly picked up on the similarities when The New Day/Wyatt Family angle aired on Raw and many fans were jokingly asking why Senor Benjamin wasn’t involved in the segment. Benjamin took to Twitter to tell fans that the Wyatts couldn’t afford his services.

Reby Sky then voiced her opinions on the angle and you can see how the saga played out below.

Bray Wyatt also chimed in with the following tweet.

Which version did you like better, WWE’s or TNA’s? Sound off in the comments below.

  1. wyatts was creepier and they copied who ??? stopped watching tna after aces and 8’s ended that was a good story

  2. I don’t see the big deal because in Final Destination it was the end of Jeff Hardy but at the Compound it was only the beginning and a way to bring out Sister Abigail.
