WWE is currently on tour in South America and yesterday it was reported that Luke Harper had left the tour early and exited from his role in SmackDown Live’s leg of the excursion.
Many of the WWE Universe speculated about the reasons behind this and the fact that this could be a problem for The Bludgeon Brothers moving forward, but it seems that it is, in fact, happy news for Harper and his wife Synndy.
It was reported last night by PWInsider that Harper had rushed home to America after he found out that his wife had gone into early labor with their second child. Harper then arrived back in the United States in time to see his second son welcomed into the world.
The former Intercontinental Champion already has a five-year-old son called Brodie with his wife, whom he married back in 2008, so this will be a welcome addition to his growing family.
As of yet, it is unknown how long he will be away from WWE TV following the arrival of his son, especially since The Bludgeon Brothers are currently part of a decent push in the SmackDown Live Tag Team Division. Too much time away from the show could affect the impact that the former Wyatt Family members have already made, but Harper also deserves some time away from the company to celebrate his new arrival.
Harper is a well-liked WWE superstar backstage, so the WWE Universe and his co-workers will be happy to know that it was some good news at long last for the SmackDown star.
