It’s been a few months since Tony Khan officially announced AEW All In at Wembley Stadium, and the card has really been coming together in recent weeks. So far AEW has sold more than 80,000 tickets to All In which is shaping up to be a big show.
CM Punk made his big return to AEW during the premiere episode of Collision back in June and this week on Collision his match for All In was confirmed. Samoa Joe recently challenged CM Punk to a match at All In which led to Punk answering the challenge on Saturday night.
During Collision, Samoa Joe made his way to the ring where he was attacked by a masked wrestler dressed in gold known only as the Golden Vampire. The Golden Vampire hit Samoa Joe with the GTS then removed his mask to reveal that it was none other than CM Punk.
After removing the mask CM Punk grabbed a microphone and simply told Samoa Joe, “I accept” before leaving the ring. It’s now been confirmed that CM Punk will put the Real AEW World Championship on the line when he defends the belt against Samoa Joe at All In on Sunday, August 27. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
