According to The Wrestling Observer, the backstage WWE reaction to CM Punk’s about Ryback was mostly negative, with many in the locker room feeling Punk’s comment came off as unprofessional and cheap. Virtually no one in the WWE locker room believes Ryback kicked Punk “as hard as he could” nor did he intentionally try to injure Punk’s ribs.
With regards to Punk’s comments about working injured, it’s said that very few talents had any sympathy for him, as it’s common knowledge that every top guy in WWE is always dealing with a litany of injuries.
