Raw Viewership Drops To A New Low For 2017, Lana Wants In On Money In The Bank

Most wrestling fans agree that Monday Night Raw seems to be in a bit of a post-WrestleMania lull, and that sentiment has been reflected by the ratings. For five weeks in a row now the show has averaged below 3 million viewers, and unfortunately the ratings are trending downward.

The WWE creative department seems to be biding their time as they wait for the summer storylines to pick up, but it looks like the audience is having a tough time holding on. According to ShowBuzzDaily, this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw averaged 2.613 million viewers, and viewership was down compared to the 2.615 million viewers who tuned into last week’s show.

The first hour of Raw drew 2.689 million viewers, followed by the second hour which drew 2.681 million viewers. The third and final hour drew 2.468 million viewers.

This week on WWE SmackDown Live, Commissioner Shane McMahon made a huge announcement. Shane announced that at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Tamina Natalya, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Carmella will all be competing in the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

Lana technically joined the SmackDown Live women’s roster during the WWE Superstar Shake-up, but she has yet to make her debut on the show. However, the Ravishing Russian has made it clear that she wants in on the Money in the Bank match.
