This week’s episode of WWE Raw featured an advertised appearance from Brock Lesnar, and it was the first episode in several months that didn’t have to compete with football on Monday nights. Apparently the addition of Brock Lesnar and the lack of football helped up big time, as ShowBuzzDaily.com reports that this week’s show drew 3.271 million viewers, up from the 2.907 million viewers who tuned into last week’s episode.
For this week’s episode of WWE Raw the first hour drew 3.519 million viewers, followed by the second hour which drew 3.221 million viewers. The third and final hour of Raw drew 3.074 million viewers.
Monday night prior to Raw Darren Young faced off against Epico during the Main Event tapings. Unfortunately for Darren Young he took a bad fall and referee ended up stopping the match. Darren Young was later escorted to the backstage area by his manager Bob Backlund.
Darren Young posted an injury update on Twitter with the following caption:
“Hyperextension which resulted in a traumatic dislocation & fracture of the coronoid process of the right elbow.”
At this point in time there’s no word on how long Darren Young is expected to be out of action.
