Randy Orton Wins The 2017 WWE Royal Rumble Match

This year’s Royal Rumble match was one of the most star studded Royal Rumbles in recent years, as it included big names such as The Undertaker, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton and more.

The match featured a few surprises as Tye Dillinger made his debut and Luke Harper turned on The Wyatt Family.

From start to finish this Royal Rumble match was fast paced and action packed. Everybody played their part well, but the heavy hitters didn’t enter until late in the match. Brock Lesnar entered at 26, and immediately took everyone in the ring to Suplex City. Brock wasted 8 of WWE’s finest, and as they were laying in the ring, wincing in pain, Enzo’s music hit and he came out at number 27.

Enzo didn’t have much luck, as Brock Lesnar hit him with a clothesline and threw him over the top rope. None of the 8 stars in the ring even tried to get up while this was happening, but Brock picked up random names for a suplex here and there until Goldberg came out at 28.

Goldberg hit Brock with a spear right away, then clotheslined him over to top rope to eliminate him. Brock sat outside the ring in disbelief as the crowd went wild. The stars in the ring then started to attack Goldberg one by one, and he fought them all off until Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton ganged up on him.

The Undertaker’s music hit, and he entered the match at 29. The lights went out and he suddenly appeared in the ring behind Goldberg. Taker tried to chokeslam Goldberg but Baron Corbin attacked Taker, and Rusev attacked Goldberg. Corbin and Rusev were both eliminated then Goldberg speared Taker. Luke Harper attacked Goldberg and Goldberg eliminated him. The Undertaker then eliminated Goldberg.

Taker then started handing out chokeslams and then Roman Reigns entered the match at number 30. Reigns stood face to face with The Undertaker and they exchanged punches.

Taker eliminated Miz and then Sami Zayn then turned his attention back to Reigns, but Reigns hung on when Taker threw him over the top. Taker chokeslammed Chris Jericho then signaled for the Tombstone, but Roman Reigns eliminated him from behind. Taker looked super pissed.

Roman then eliminated Chris Jericho, and it came down to Reigns, Wyatt and Orton.

Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton then ganged up on Roman Reigns and Bray told Randy to finish him. Randy hit a DDT from the second rope then Bray followed up with Sister Abigail into the RKO, but Roman countered with a Superman Punch for Bray and Randy then he eliminated Bray.

Roman Reigns signaled for the spear, but Randy Orton hit the RKO and eliminated him to win the match.
