Throughout the year WWE has released numerous talents from their contracts, and recently WWE released Sunil Singh and Samir Singh, also known as The Bollywood Boyz.
Back in 2017 the duo found themselves working with Jinder Mahal, and they had a consistent presence on WWE programming when Mahal was feuding with Randy Orton over the WWE Championship.
During the WWE Title match at Backlash in 2017, Randy Orton went to slam Samir Singh on the announce table, and Singh flipped over before coming down on his head. The Bollywood Boyz Twitter account recently responded to a gif of the announce table spot, and in the tweet it was noted that the team wanted to earn Randy Orton’s respect.
“This was all about winning & earning @RandyOrton’s respect. We wanted to shine in the small moments we had, make them look like a million bucks & have people talking.”
The Viper responded by telling the team that the respect was earned, and he also sent them some encouraging words when he said that he’ll see them down the road.
“Respect was earned long before those tables came into play. Something tells me I’ll see you guys down the road. Until then, show everyone what you guys can do.”
