WrestleMania season is finally here, and everyone’s buzzing about Ronda Rousey potentially wrestling her first match at WrestleMania 34 in April. Ronda is set to sign her WWE contract at Elimination Chamber on Sunday, and fans should get a good indication of how she fits into the WWE landscape following the pay-per-view.
TMZ recently caught up with Randy Orton, and they asked him for his thoughts on Rousey, but he responded by saying he doesn’t know much about her, and he doesn’t watch Raw.
“I don’t know anything about Rousey. She’s on Raw, I’m on SmackDown. I’ve never met her. I don’t watch Raw. I’m a SmackDown guy.”
The interviewer continued to ask about Rousey, and if she can become one of the top stars in the women’s division. Orton didn’t rule out big success for Rousey, but he said she has a long way to go.
“It’s not that I don’t have any interest in it. I don’t know her. Based on what she’s accomplished, I’d say she has a good chance of being one of the top female wrestlers eventually. But she’s got a long way to go.”
Orton was once again asked about her potential success, and if she can become the next Hulk Hogan, but he responded by saying that there’s no way to tell until she gets her career going.
