Anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling, and WrestleVotes recently reported that All Elite Wrestling made an “outstanding offer” to a top WWE Superstar.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful followed up on the report by saying WrestleVotes didn’t mention the name, but he knows who it is, and it’s Randy Orton
He then made it clear that he doesn’t know if Orton has been offered a deal.
Sapp noted that he asked people in AEW about the rumor, and they told him, “We are not tampering. We are not doing that. Our approach is, fresh and independent, is the goal for the majority of our recruitment.”
Orton has reportedly been “openly discussing his willingness to speak with All Elite Wrestling.”
Sapp went on to say that according to people backstage in WWE, Orton hasn’t been shy about letting people know he would talk with AEW. It was also noted by Sapp that he doesn’t know at this point when Randy Orton’s current contract is set to expire.
