Randy Orton is not only the youngest WWE Champion of all time, but his name is also synonymous with WWE at this point. Orton has called WWE his home since 2002 and since then the third-generation pro wrestler has spent his time dominating and being a huge influence on WWE.
He has a lot of gas left in the tank as well and many would assume that a celebration of the last 25 years of Raw would naturally include The Viper. After all, Orton was used in promo material for the show and when it was announced that SmackDown Live Superstars were expected to be part of the show Orton’s name was always on that list.
However apparently, Randy Orton won’t be enjoying the celebration on camera at either the Barclays or Manhattan Center on the big night. Orton’s wife Kim posted on Instagram and included a rather upset sounding caption to a picture of her famous husband.
In her post, Kim Orton said:
“Can someone pls explain to me how @randyorton isn’t on the Raw 25th anniversary tonight? He’s been on more episode of Raw then anyone besides HHH, Michaels, Taker, Kane and Cena. Impressive list right? So why NOT @randyorton? He’s had some of the most memorable moments in Raw history too. He’s also on the Promo pic but isn’t on the show. Just doesn’t make sense to me. Enjoy the show tonight guys. I’ll be playing MarioKart with my kids.”
Perhaps WWE couldn’t find room for Randy Orton with all of the special guests they have lined up? For whatever reason, Mrs. Viper doesn’t sound very happy about this situation and we really can’t blame her either.
After all, Randy Orton has participated in some amazing angles on Raw throughout the past 16 years and there are probably plenty more where that came from.
