Randy Orton is a 13 time World Champion, and he’s been with WWE for a long time. Throughout the course of his career Randy Orton has faced some of the biggest names in the industry, and he’s wrestled quite a few matches in the process.
This week on SmackDown Live, Randy Orton won a gauntlet match, and he also made history.
Randy Orton was tied with Chris Jericho for third place in regards to most televised matches in WWE history, but he broke the tie on Tuesday and is now the sole owner of third place with 746 matches on TV.
Orton’s next target is Big Show who is in second place with 798 televised matches.
Second place seems like an attainable goal for Orton, but it will probably be a while before he touches first, as Kane is holding down the position with 927 televised matches spanning multiple gimmicks.
At this point Orton has given no indication that he plans to stop wrestling any time soon, so we’ll have to see if he can eventually make it to number one.
