Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Kevin Owens hijacked the show when he appeared out of nowhere to cut a promo. Owens said that he hasn’t been able to tell his side of the story regarding why he attacked Cody Rhodes after Bad Blood, and then his mic was cut off.
WWE officials made their way out to deal with the situation and Randy Orton walked down to the ring shortly after. As Orton was trying to calm Owens down KO ended up hitting The Viper with an elbow. Randy Orton responded by striking Kevin Owens and Owens looked shocked as he left the ring.
Later in the night cameras showed Kevin Owens attacking Randy Orton backstage as WWE officials pulled the former Universal Champion away from The Viper. Orton has been quiet since then, but WWE recently posted a video of Randy making his entrance at a live event and he sent a message to KO when he said the following:
“Hey Owens, once I get back in the States, once I get back across the pond, I’m coming for ya, and I’m whippin’ your a**. You got one comin’.”
Owens recently explained that he sent a video to WWE explaining his side of the story and the company refused to air it. He then went on to say that WWE has until Friday to post the video on social media or he will post it himself. One way or another it seems that the situation between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens is going to get worse before it gets better.
