Randy Orton punched his ticket to WrestleMania last month when he won the men’s Elimination Chamber match. On last week’s episode of SmackDown, The Viper met Cody Rhodes in the ring and they signed the contract for their Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania.
As soon as Randy Orton signed the contract he turned on Cody as he slammed his head into the table then connected with a kick below the belt. Orton proceeded to bust Cody open by hitting him with the steel ring steps then followed up with a chair shot. Randy’s big turn has been the talk of the wrestling world over the last few days and he finally broke his silence during an interview with Michael Cole on Raw.
When the cameras cut to Randy he was talking on the phone and he told Michael Cole to hold on as he finished his call. He cut Cole off and said that he changed his mind, no interview.
Randy explained that he finally had a conversation with someone who has a brain, and they said something profound that made him understand who he is. Orton looked at the camera and said, “You see Cole, I’m a killer.” As he finished Randy seemingly teased the return of Bob Orton when he reminded everyone that “Wrestling has more than one royal family.”
