R-Truth Wins The US Title On WWE SmackDown Live

R-Truth won the Mixed Match Challenge and earned the right to enter the Royal Rumble at number 30, but unfortunately he never ended up competing in the match because Nia Jax beat him up and took his spot.

This week on SmackDown Live, R-Truth was given a consolation prize when he got a shot at the US Title, and he ended up winning the belt.

Truth got the upper hand when he rolled Shinsuke Nakamura up, and the match ended in controversy because it seemed that both Shinsuke and Truth’s shoulders were down, but the ref counted the pin and declared Truth the winner.

After the match R-Truth celebrated with Carmella as Rusev interrupted.

Rusev challenged Truth to a title match, and Truth accepted. Truth ended up getting a win over Rusev with a roll-up to retain the belt.

After the match Shinsuke Nakamura beat down R-Truth and threw him back in the ring. Rusev and Nakamura teamed up to beat down Truth.
