The last few weeks have been eventful for R-Truth to say the least. Earlier this month Truth took to social media to announce that he had been released from WWE, and it was later reported that the company had decided not to renew his contract. A few days later R-Truth made his shocking return at Money in the Bank when he interfered in the main event and attacked John Cena.
R-Truth then made an appearance on the following episode of Raw and introduced the world to a new version of his character when he cut off his hair. The former WWE 24/7 Champion was much more serious on Raw as he introduced the world to Ron Killings.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray discussed the promo on Busted Open Radio, and he stated that he never wants to hear Ron Killings bring up the name Truth again. Ron Killings himself later responded to the comments during an appearance on Busted Open Radio while making it clear that he’s going to do whatever he wants to do.
“Who the f*** is he talking to? Who’s he to tell me who I am? … See, everybody has somebody that is trying to tell them who the f*** they are. I know who I am. I’m not the nice one. I’m driving now. Don’t let anyone tell you who you are. You know you better than anybody else knows and I know me better than anyone else knows me too.”
“How are you going to tell me why I cut my hair? I do what I want to do. It ain’t that nice time no more. I’m not angry. I just won’t be taken advantage of no more. Things are gonna change around here. I’m driving now.”
