WWE is currently up for sale and Vince McMahon is once again on the WWE Board of Directors. Vince returned to pursue a sale of the company ahead of WWE’s upcoming media rights negotiations and there are reportedly several parties who are interested in exploring the option of a potential purchase.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Endeavor, which owns UFC, is a confirmed suitor when it comes to a WWE sale. It was noted that because the two businesses share many similarities Endeavor could cut costs by having staff members work in both divisions.
It’s also being reported that Endeavor would want Triple H to remain in his position as head of WWE creative. However, it’s also believed that they would be find with Vince McMahon running the company despite the scandals he’s been involved in.
Analysts are estimating that WWE could sell for somewhere between $7.4 billion and $8.2 billion. Comcast, Saudi Arabia, Amazon Prime, Disney and Netflix are all reportedly capable of pulling off such as deal. It was noted that Endeavor would need a business partner to acquire to WWE.
