Potential Opponent For Kurt Angle’s WWE Return Match

Kurt Angle may be back on WWE programming as the General Manager of Raw. However, the WWE Universe is still wondering if The Olympic Hero will have another match inside a WWE ring. It’s not just a question of when or if, but also about who would be his first opponent.

Recently, Angle revealed that his physical condition isn’t what it used to be. HHH and other WWE officials have been clear that Kurt will be required to pass all physical tests in order to make a return to the ring. It’s being said that if he does pass, it won’t be until later this year.

There are a dozen potential dream matches the WWE Universe would like to see from Angle, but one of the most likely choices is The Miz. According to Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer, Miz is the “right kind” of opponent for Kurt Angle’s return match to the WWE ring.

Angle vs. Miz would be safe inside the ring, and he would be able to carry the feud as a heel on the microphone. Since Miz had a conflict with Daniel Bryan on SmackDown, he may try the same tricks with Angle. Eventually, that could lead to a match if Angle passes all tests.
