WrestleMania is in a sense the season finale of WWE. All roads lead to WrestleMania, and after the big event it’s time for the WWE to call up new stars and kick off new feuds.
The WWE Raw roster will be traveling to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on April 14th, and the card for the event has been announced. Live event cards aren’t always the best indication of what WWE has planned for their roster, but they can sometimes be used as a way for stars to work with each other in the ring before they bring a rivalry to TV.
Some of the matches on the card feature opponents who are very familiar with each other, but the most interesting match is without a doubt Finn Balor vs. Rusev. Balor is set to make his return to the ring soon and he will likely be featured as one of Raw’s top stars when he returns to TV. Although it remains to be seen if he’ll end up facing off with Rusev on television, their upcoming match has us wondering if a possible feud between the two former NXT stars could be in the works.
