WWE is planning something big on the way to Survivor Series and it looks like even more names are backstage planning possible involvement in tonight’s big show. Tonight’s Raw is likely to have some kind of urgent nature to it as WWE needs to stack Survivor Series and they need to do so quickly. After all, the big November pay-per-view event will be here before we know it.
We’ve previously reported Roman Reigns was not cleared for a return at this time. We’ve also informed you that Samoa Joe is backstage and it looks like he’s ready for action as well. While it’s not guaranteed Samoa Joe will be appearing on the show, PW Insider has some new information about tonight’s Raw from Baltimore that might be a big clue what to expect tonight as well.
Bray Wyatt is apparently backstage which likely means he has been cleared for an in-ring return. This is very good news for fans of The Eater Of Worlds and is also a good sign he is over whatever viral infection he’s been suffering from recently. His recent illness might have nixed a Sister Abigail storyline with Finn Balor, but fans got to see AJ Styles vs The Demon instead which was a very nice trade.
Braun Strowman is also reportedly backstage as well which could mean he’s recovered from being compacted like trash in the back of a garbage truck. This is incredible recovery time for that kind of injury, but it only goes to show why people call him The Monster Among Men and that WWE storylines can get pretty extreme at times.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see a few surprises tonight on Raw, and it might be a good idea to watch until the end of the show (as always). We’ll keep you updated if we hear anything else as always. But at this time there are no SmackDown Live Superstars backstage, therefore another invasion angle isn’t looking likely at this time.
