The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is only a few days away, and you never know who might show up at the event. The rumor mill has been running wild for weeks now with talk of possible appearances at the event, and now another name has entered the fray.
Fightful Select reports that WWE Hall of Famer is set to be in St. Louis this weekend which is the site of the Royal Rumble. Details regarding plans for Angle are unknown, but over the weekend WWE will be holding community events, press events, and filming content which Kurt Angle is expected to be involved with in some capacity.
Conrad Thompson’s podcast network will be holding an event in St. Louis over the weekend, and even though Angle is part of the network it’s being said that his presence in St. Louis is not related to Conrad’s event.
It’s also being reported that there have been discussions about Kurt Angle returning as an on screen presence on WWE programming. Angle has not competed since he was defeated by Baron Corbin in his retirement match at WrestleMania 35.
