The Royal Rumble is set to air live from Tropicana Field tonight, and it looks like WWE could potentially be opening the forbidden door for some surprise appearances.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE reached out to outside companies this past weekend about potentially using their talent at the Royal Rumble premium live event.
It’s also worth noting that Raj Giri shared a hint regarding possible surprises for the Royal Rumble tonight when he posted a tweet saying that WWE’s relationship with TNA is reaching new levels.

A few years ago Mickie James competed in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match while she was the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion, so this certainly wouldn’t be the first time that WWE has worked with TNA for a Royal Rumble appearance.
Recently a few former WWE stars including Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) and Ali have showed up in TNA. If WWE does indeed utilize someone from the TNA wrestling roster tonight for a surprise appearance it will be interesting to see who shows up.
