Over the years WWE has released some iconic video games and it’s expected that the next installment in their 2K series will be released at some point next year. Everyone knows that it’s a great honor to be featured on the cover of a WWE video game, and it was John Cena who landed the cover spot for WWE 2K23.
So far little is known about plans for WWE 2K24, but the BWE X account recently claimed that Cody Rhodes is set to be featured on the cover of the game.
It seems that 2024 could end up being a big year for Cody Rhodes as it’s no big secret that he’s looking to finish the story. Unfortunately for The American Nightmare he was defeated by The Tribal Chief on the Grandest Stage of Them All earlier this year, but it’s rumored that a Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes rematch could be on the table for WrestleMania 40.
The roster for WWE 2K24 has not been revealed yet, but it was recently confirmed on TrishStratus.com that the Hall of Famer was scanned for the game when the following was posted: “And for all the 2K fans reading this, we can exclusively reveal that Trish was scanned for the upcoming game and beyond. So rejoice!”
As of this writing WWE has not announced a release date for WWE 2K24. Stay tuned for updates.
