Edge made his triumphant return to the ring at the Royal Rumble last year, and he went on to defeat Randy Orton at WrestleMania 36.
Edge was unfortunately injured while taping a rematch with Orton for the Backlash pay-per-view, and he’s been out of action ever since.
It’s been reported for months now that WWE officials are hoping to book Edge vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37 next month, but now it looks like things could be going in a different direction.
WrestleVotes is reporting that Edge vs. Orton is still the plan as of this writing, but the idea of Edge vs. The Fiend has also been discussed a great deal.
