It’s a good time to be a wrestling fan as the Royal Rumble is set to air live this weekend which means that we’ll soon be on the road to WrestleMania. So far only a few names have been announced for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, so there are plenty of open spots for potential surprise entrants.
PWInsider is reporting that both Jade Cargill and Sonya Deville are expected to be in attendance for the Royal Rumble premium live event. However, it’s not confirmed that they will be entering the women’s Royal Rumble match.
WWE officially announced Jade Cargill’s signing back in September of 2023. In the weeks that followed the company hyped Cargill up by having her make appearances on shows across all three brands, but so far she has yet to make her in-ring debut for WWE.
Sonya Deville suffered a torn ACL in August of 2023 and has been out of action ever since. Sonya had won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for the first time in her career the month before alongside Chelsea Green, but Piper Niven went on to replace Sonya as Chelsea’s partner due to the injury.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Royal Rumble as they become available.
