It’s been a tragic week for the world of professional wrestling as Triple H confirmed on Thursday that Bray Wyatt has passed away. Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will be the first WWE show since Bray’s passing and fans are wondering how things will play out.
PWInsider is reporting that Cody Rhodes and Braun Strowman will be at Friday Night SmackDown this week. It was noted that just because Braun Strowman will be at SmackDown that doesn’t necessarily mean he will be appearing on camera.
It was recently reported by the BWE X account that plans for SmackDown this week had been scrapped following the passing of Bray Wyatt. PWInsider is also speculating that plans for this week’s show will likely be changed as well due to Wyatt’s untimely passing.
As of this writing WWE is still advertising the following segments for tonight’s show:
– IYO SKY to defend WWE Women’s Championship against Zelina Vega
– Jimmy Uso returns to SmackDown after Jey Uso’s departure
– Rey Mysterio to take on Grayson Waller in a non-title match
