The WWE Draft kicked off on Friday Night SmackDown last week, and the event will continue tonight on Monday Night Raw. WWE made some big moves during night 1 of the draft, and it was announced that Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will be moving to the blue brand.
Friday Night SmackDown later went off the air with Charlotte Flair holding up her Raw Women’s Championship as Becky Lynch held up her SmackDown Women’s Championship to end the show.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Becky Lynch will probably be moving to Monday Night Raw in the WWE Draft because the company wants to keep the two stars split up.
It was also noted that there is a three week period before the draft picks actually go into effect, so it will be interesting to see how the title situation plays out. Stay tuned for more updates.
