AEW President Tony Khan has been hyping up a big announcement for weeks now, and it’s been confirmed that the announcement will finally be made tonight on Dynamite.
There’s been a lot of speculation regarding what the announcement could be, and one of the things that’s been mentioned a lot is a possible streaming deal. Now Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast is reporting that he was told by a source that, “In many circles, it’s believed AEW & HBO Max have agreed to a deal.”
It was also noted that AEW gained access to an “International Pro Wrestling Promotion” but it’s not clear at this point in time exactly what that means.
Tony Khan recently noted that he could not reveal details about the announcement due to non-disclosure agreements, but teased that it will be good for fans and wrestling. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
