The new year has arrived which means that the 2023 Royal Rumble premium live event is only a few weeks away. The Royal Rumble always plays a big role in setting the stage for the road to WrestleMania, so it will be interesting to see how things play out at the event.
Bianca Belair has been Raw Women’s Champion for some time now, and Charlotte Flair recently returned and defeated Ronda Rousey to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. There’s currently no word on who they’ll be facing at WrestleMania, but according to the betting odds on BetOnline, Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch are the current top two favorites to win the women’s Royal Rumble match.
So far only one name has declared for a Royal Rumble match and that is Kofi Kingston. As of this writing no one has been confirmed for the women’s Royal Rumble match, but now that January is here that’s likely to change soon.
The Royal Rumble will air live from the Alamodome in San Antonio on Saturday, January 28. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
