Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be the first show for the blue brand following Crown Jewel and it’s been rumored that a big return was planned for the event.
PWInsider is reporting that originally the plan was for AJ Styles to return on SmackDown this week, but the word is that AJ’s return may have been pushed back. However, plans for AJ have not been confirmed just yet.
It’s also being reported that the expectation among some is that Jey Uso will be appearing on SmackDown tonight. Cody Rhodes is also being advertised for the show locally.
WWE is currently focusing on the following points for tonight’s show:

– LA Knight to throw down with Grayson Waller
– Bobby Lashley looks to beat the “cool” out of Carlito
