We’re less than one week away from the annual WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, and tonight’s episode of Raw could go a long way in setting up plans for the event.
Randy Orton is set to defend the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre tonight, and there’s been a lot of talk about Drew McIntyre’s appearance on Friday Night SmackDown last week which saw him confront Randy Orton’s Survivor Series, opponent Roman Reigns.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently took to Twitter to say that McIntyre’s appearance on SmackDown will make sense by the end of Raw tonight, or at least there were plans for his appearance to make sense when Meltzer posted the tweet.
The tweet is vague, so it’s not clear if he’s hinting at a title change, or possible another confrontation between Drew McIntyre and The Tribal Chief, but one thing’s for sure, WWE has certainly created intrigue with this title match.
Anyway, per the discussion on last night's show regarding McIntyre's appearance on Smackdown, it all does make sense at the end of the show tonight. At least at this moment.
