Now that WWE SummerSlam has come and gone all eyes are looking ahead to the Payback premium live event which is set to take place in September. The Bloodline storyline has been the focus of the SmackDown brand for some time now, and this week things got taken to the next level.
Jimmy Uso revealed why he prevented his brother from beating The Tribal Chief at SummerSlam which led to Jey Uso superkicking Jimmy before Jey declared that he’s out of WWE as he left through the crowd. There’s currently no word on what type of match WWE has planned for The Bloodline at Payback, but it looks like a familiar face could be added to the mix.
WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi is being advertised for the NinjaxChange Collectible Expo on August 26, and the promoter posted an advertisement for the event telling fans that the can come meet Rikishi “before he referees at Payback.”
Rikishi responded to the tweet and claimed that the promoter made a mistake, but there are plenty of fans in the comments section who think that Rikishi could just be trying to cover up a massive spoiler.
Rikishi has teased possible involvement with The Bloodline storyline in the past, so it will be interesting to see if he is finally brought in. Stay tuned for updates.
