Seth Rollins returned to the ring earlier this month when he challenged Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank. Unfortunately for Seth it didn’t go his way as Drew McIntyre cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during the match and CM Punk also decided to interfere when he attacked Drew.
Recently on Monday Night Raw, Rollins confronted Punk which led to a lot of speculation regarding what Seth Rollins will be doing at SummerSlam this year.
WrestleVotes is now reporting that the current plan is for Seth Rollins to be the special guest referee for the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre match at SummerSlam. WWE creative is under the assumption that Punk will be ready with the hope that he will be cleared by 7/29.
