The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is only days away, and it’s safe to say that over the next few weeks WWE will starting setting the stage for WrestleMania 38. There’s been a lot of talk about stars who could be returning during WrestleMania season this year, and one name that’s been coming up a lot recently is none other than former Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.
It was recently reported that WWE is pushing for Ronda Rousey to return, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio the impression he has is that plans call for Ronda Rousey to face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. This would certainly make sense as the two stars have some unfinished business following their main event at WrestleMania 35.
PWInsider recently reported that at least one WWE official flew out to California to meet with Ronda Rousey last week, and it’s being said that “it’s all on Rousey” when it comes to a potential return.
It’s been rumored that Ronda Rousey could be returning at the Royal Rumble this weekend, and Becky Lynch recently commented on rumors of Rousey’s return when she posted the following:
