It’s currently September, but it’s never too early to start talking about the Royal Rumble premium live event. WWE recently confirmed that the event will take place from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL and it’s safe to say that the company will be looking to book some big matches for the show.
John Cena recently returned to WWE and he’s set to continue appearing on SmackDown through late October. When you appear on SmackDown it’s hard not to interact with The Bloodline in some fashion or form, and on the most recent episode of SmackDown the former WWE Champion crossed paths with both Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.
Now the BWE X account is reporting that WWE is discussing the idea of a possible John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa match for the Royal Rumble premium live event in 2024.
After Friday Night SmackDown went off the air this week John Cena teamed with AJ Styles to face the team of Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Cena ended up picking up the win for his team when he pinned Jimmy Uso, and it was his first match in the United States since he was defeated by Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39.
