We’re less than one week away from SummerSlam, and the card for the event is loaded.
Seth Rollins is set to challenge Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship at the event, and Rollins will also have to worry about Drew McIntyre.
However, it sounds like Rollins could be getting a little backup in the form of a trusted friend.
According to WrestleVotes, Dean Ambrose is expected to return sometime this week, likely at SummerSlam, and the plan is for Ambrose to be in Seth’s corner on Sunday.
It’s been a long time since WWE fans have seen Dean Ambrose, as he’s been out of action all year after undergoing surgery to repair a torn triceps in December of 2017.
