You never know when you might see some familiar faces return to WWE as quite a few names have been brought back since Triple H took over creative for the company last summer. Fightful Select recently reported that AOP secretly signed new deals with WWE in 2022, but they haven’t been used yet. However, it seems that the former Raw Tag Team Champions could be returning to TV sooner rather than later.
PWInsider reports that within the last week there’s been a lot of talk about Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering making appearances for WWE soon. It was noted that AOP will most likely be appearing on the NXT brand.
Talk of AOP making appearances picked up about three weeks ago and there were discussions at the NXT tapings this week about them possibly making appearances as soon as next month.
