WrestleMania 38 continued on Sunday with night 2 and Edge faced off against AJ Styles on the Grandest Stage of Them All. The WWE Hall of Famer managed to pick up the win after Damian Priest distracted AJ Styles, and then Priest got in the ring and celebrated with Edge.
This is reportedly the beginning of a new stable and according to Fightful Select more names have been pitched to join the group including Rhea Ripley. It’s also being reported that former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa has been pitched for the stable as well. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Rhea Ripley or Tommaso Ciampa will be joining the stable, but their names have been pitched.
Over the weekend Tommaso Ciampa was defeated by Tony D’Angelo at NXT Stand & Deliver. After the match he made his way up the ramp and shared an emotional moment with Triple H which appeared to be Ciampa’s farewell to NXT.
One way or another it will be interesting to see if Edge’s stable expands tonight on Raw. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
