WWE Clash at the Castle is quickly approaching and so far a few title matches have been confirmed for the show. As of this writing Cody Rhodes has not been added to the card, but all signs seem to be pointing to a rematch with AJ Styles after The Phenomenal One beat down The American Nightmare on SmackDown last week.
Dave Meltzer recently discussed plans for Clash at the Castle on Wrestling Observer Radio, and he noted that a Cody vs. AJ rematch could be announced as soon as Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
“So that’s gonna be on the pay-per-view, Clash at the Castle, which I presume that they’ll announce on Friday. I mean, you could see the angle, I wasn’t sure which pay-per-view it would be on because they might have held it off for the Toronto show because Toronto needs a big match, but I was told that it’s going to be on this one coming up.”
WWE Clash at the Castle will air live on Saturday, June 15 and the current card for the event can be seen below.
