WWE Clash at the Castle is set to air live from Cardiff, Wales on Saturday, and Roman Reigns will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre in the main event.
Fans have seen some interesting returns as of late, and it looks like a former Universal Champion could be inserting himself into the title picture. Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda recently claimed on his Pancakes & Powerslams podcast that right now the plan is for Bray Wyatt to return at Clash at the Castle and go right into an immediate storyline involving the title.
“This is the news I received from a source within WWE. Now, of course, things are subject to change, and this is information that I’m receiving. This isn’t something that I am like; this is going to happen, but this is a reputable source within WWE. This is what’s going to happen. Right now, the plan is for Bray Wyatt to return at Clash at the Castle with an immediate storyline for the title.”
Featherstone also added that WWE has been working on a new theme song for Bray Wyatt when he said, “Interestingly enough, his theme song. They have been working on this theme song for a while, and it’s said to be really, really good. His theme songs are usually creative, and they are eerie and unique, and it looks like this one is going to be the same. So, we shall see.”
There’s certainly no denying that fans have been patiently waiting for Bray Wyatt to return to professional wrestling, but only time will tell if he makes his return at Clash at the Castle. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
