Night 1 of the WWE Draft is set to kick off tonight on Friday Night SmackDown, and fans are expecting to see some surprises. There’s no telling who might be featured on the show and it looks like a former WWE Champion is being brought in.
PWInsider is reporting that AJ Styles is set to be in Corpus Christi, TX tonight for night 1 of the draft. There’s no word on whether or not Styles will be used, but he is among the names eligible to be drafted tonight along with the rest of The OC.
The Phenomenal One has been out of action since he suffered a broken ankle back in December and after he suffered the injury he noted that this is the longest time he was expecting to be out of the ring.
It was recently reported that he has not been on the road with WWE, and he has not been spotted at the Performance Center, so the fact that he’s being brought in tonight is interesting to say the least. Stay tuned for more updates on the WWE Draft as they become available.
